About Brothers of Briar Forum:
This site was created primarily as a place to communicate with other pipe smokers on the net. There are many other places dedicated to the same interest but what sets BoB Forums/Chat apart from them is that it is completely community driven. Meaning the members have a say in the direction this site heads in the future. BoB Forums/Chat is not in competition with anyone and therefore you are able to say or link to any place you wish as long as it is respectful and tolerated by the members of the community. Community being the priority in all things.
The 2008 BoB Forum pipe:
Mark Tinsky Squat Bull Dog. What a wonderful shape for a pipe. Fairly light in weight. Seems to naturally clench with no difficulties. Those flat surfaces challenge the maker to get it right, while showing the grain or finish of the pipe off. This is a new shape for Mark and fortuitous that BoB Forum was looking for a pipe shape at the time. Depending upon the briar, some of these are amazing to behold.

Forum pipes are a large part of my herd. Nearly all have been a great deal, and good smokers to boot. No matter where you go, most forums do something like that from time to time. It is my hope that everyone who can, support the forum pipes when you can. No matter if it's here at Brothers of Briar, or ASP, Smokers Forums, GFO, TSPTC or any group. Join in from time to time. It's not about making money. It's about sharing the experience. Perhaps helping a new maker get noticed. Promoting our hobby. Some of the makers really put their heart and soul into their work. It's nice to be able to tell them thanks with a purchase.
