Today s work consists of a pipe I did in response to a special order inquiry, Someone wrote for a quote on a Jacano pipe pictured on page 31 in the Spring P&T magazine. It was a 1/4 bent 4 square. This is a shape I don t remmeber seeing before and I was eager to work on it. I sent off a quote for the pipe in various finishes. I woke up thinking about the pipe and had to go make it anyway. Hopefully I ll hear back from the fellow and perhaps he ll like it. It came out well, a lot of flame and straight grain; ina natural finish.
