TODAYS WORK

10/26/2000

Today s work consists of mostly specail orders and a pipe for the web catalog. All the coral etching was done by Dave Nestor who carved an interesting and deep relief into the pipes. The first two are meershaum lined bowls which I experimentied with a couple months ago. One of the customers who bought one insisted on a couple more so I obliged him. The first a size 5 poker, has excellent birdseye in the Cabernet finish:

The second pipe is a tomato shape with a ferrule and matching stem:

The next two pipes are special orders for John Hayes Tob.; two of the catalog shapes, a Bull dog and Rhodesian

The last Coral pipe is listed on the web catalog as:

CC 175

The last pipe is a Gold Apple, in a Cabernet finish. The customer had seen one before with a silver band and requested the same. This pipe has a stunning straight grain which rated 2 stars.
