Todays work consists of three pipes for the web catalog which I finished yesterday. Todays actual work consisted of fishing, my first real day on the stream with Mike Cherba and his wife Lynne. Certainly two of the nicest people you could ever meet! Water was a little cold for the trout but it was a beautiful sunny day and after the long cold Winter we ve had in the NE it was wonderful to be out. We did catch a few , all the better......Even the car ride was great, talking about and smoking pipes .
Anyway here are three new pipes. The first, BB34, was made on a whim. I was moving blocks from one crate to another when I happened upon a large long block with flame grain bursting from the sides. I dropped what I was doing and made this
B Size, 1 star , Cabernet.
2.5" H X 7.5" L
The second pipe is another pipe made from a block I took a fancy to while doing some special work. This is listed as UB 278
A Size 5, Pristine( Gold-Red)
The last pipe is a Blast Christmas Pipe I got back from the silversmith. It has an engraved fancy silver band and will be the last banded pipe available .
